Coway Water & Air Purifier Rental in Florida

Florida tap water meets the standards in effect today. PFAS is a different story. Florida has no PFAS limit of its own and follows the federal one, which doesn't apply until 2029, so readings above it aren't violations yet. Some large utilities are already publishing numbers above the federal limit.

Utilities are evaluating treatment upgrades, but large-scale systems take years and big budgets. The leading technologies for reducing PFAS are activated carbon and membrane filtration like reverse osmosis (RO). An RO purifier at the one tap you drink from lets you start managing your water now instead of waiting for the limit to take effect. Check each model's certifications on its product page.

During a post-hurricane boil water notice, boil your purifier's water too or use bottled water. Once it lifts, flush your lines and check your filter; rental customers get this covered with regular filter service. Purifiers that need electricity won't work in an outage, so stocking bottled water is still the first step in hurricane prep. We don't claim air purifiers remove red tide toxins; if red tide bothers your breathing, the guidance is to leave the beach and go into an air-conditioned space.
